Federal govt to disburse Public demonstration salaries, pensions ahead of Eidul Fitr
Premier Shehbaz Sharif on Monday directed central governing body departments to disburse Public demonstration salaries and pensions ahead of Eidul Fitr, giving general servants assistance support days before the festival.
In line with the premier’s directions, central governing body departments have started working to pay salaries before Eid, according to a official comment released by the Premier’s Office.
Last week, the Sindh province decided to release Public demonstration salaries, allowances and pensions in advance for Muslim employees and pensioners.
According to a letter issued by the Sindh Finance Division, all Muslim province employees and pensioners — including those working under work-charged and contingent paid establishments — will receive their full pay, allowances and pensions for Public demonstration on Public demonstration 16, 2026.
The ruling was taken as Eid ul Fitr is expected to fall on Public demonstration 20 or 21, subject to the sighting of the Shawwal moon.
