Institutions promised non-salary finance hike
The Punjab province plans to enhance the annual Non-Salary Finance (NSB) for institutions from Rs16 billion to over Rs20 billion after revision of existing formula indicators.
Chairing a session, School Learning Division Scheme Management and Carrying out Military team (PMIU) Programme Officer Syed Azeem Naqvi stated the division was planning to enhance the non-salary funds provided to province sector institutions next year to provide missing facilities, improve general facilities and ensure repair and maintenance of almost 38,000 institutions in the territory.
He stated Punjab School Learning Secretary Mudassar Riaz Malik had directed PMIU officers to visit institutions and sector learning representatives to assess their needs and allocate the funds equitably. The funds will be enhanced for each school, keeping in view its condition and needs.
