PML-N senior head Nehal Hashmi named Sindh administrator
ISLAMABAD: Premier Shehbaz Sharif has forwarded a summary to Head Asif Ali Zardari for appointing Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior head Nehal Hashmi as the Sindh administrator.
According to the PM's Office, the premier has sent the summary for Hashmi's endorsement as the Sindh administrator to Head Asif Ali Zardari.
The comment further stated that PM Shehbaz met Hashmi in Islamabad and congratulated him on his proposed appointment as the administrator.
Once approved by the head, Hashmi will formally assume the office of the administrator of Sindh and replace MQM-P's Kamran Khan Tessori.
Speculation about a change in the Sindh governorship has been circulating for some time, as the Pakistan Individuals’s Faction (PPP), which rules Sindh, was reportedly unhappy with Tessori’s tenure.
