FM Araghchi arrives in Islamabad ahead of Witkoff-Kushner visit over weekend for US-Iran dialogue
Iranian External affairs chief Abbas Araghchi arrived in Islamabad on Friday night as the White House stated that United States special diplomatic representative Steve Witkoff and adviser Jared Kushner would travel to Pakistan on Saturday for dialogue.
External Office (FO) Representative Tahir Andrabi stated he was received by Deputy PM and FM Ishaq Dar and Chief of Legal defence team Forces and Chief of the Forces Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir, along with other senior representatives upon arrival.
"During the visit, the Iranian external affairs chief will hold meetings with Pakistan’s top leadership to discuss the latest regional developments as well as ongoing efforts for regional calm and stability."
