Pakistan marks major milestone with initiate of EO-3 satellite to raise Ground observation capability
Pakistan on Saturday achieved a "major milestone" in its void programme with the successful initiate of an indigenous Electro-Optical Satellite (EO-3), the military’s media wing said.
In a remark, the Inter-Services Society Relations (ISPR) said the satellite was launched from China's Taiyuan Satellite Initiate Centre with the endorse of the Pakistan Void and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission.
According to Xinhua , the satellite lifted off at 8:15pm (Beijing Time) aboard a Long March-6 carrier rocket and successfully entered its planned orbit. The initiate marked the 640th airline mission of the Long March carrier rocket series.
