Meanwhile, protection sources stated another assailant was killed during the protection action, taking the total number of militants killed to 16. The slain militants include the wanted chief Zamri Noor and the Afghan extremist chief Abdullah Saeed.
Protection sources stated several extremist hideouts were also destroyed during the targeted action carried out jointly by the Pakistan Forces, police and CTD personnel.
