Province protection units kill 11 India-backed terrorists in North Waziristan: ISPR
Province protection units have killed 11 India-backed Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's North Waziristan sector during the last 48 hours, the Inter-Services General Relations (ISPR) stated on Sunday.
"In continuation of series of intel-based operations, in last forty eight hours, Province protection units engaged multiple khawarijs' locations in senior commander area Datta Khel, North Waziristan Sector," the legal defence team's press wing stated in a comment.
Following intense and fierce exchanges of fire, 11 terrorists belonging to India-sponsored Fitna al-Khawarij were effectively neutralised, it further stated.
According to the ISPR, province protection units also recovered weapons and ammunition from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous assailant activities in the area.
Following the IBO, province protection units launched sanitisation operations to eliminate holed-up terrorists from the areas, it stated.
