RIYADH / ISLAMABAD: In a major milestone for Pakistani tech in the Gulf, Bookme.pk is projecting $20 million in new annual revenue from a flurry of deals across Saudi Arabia, according to Arab News.
Founded in 2013, Bookme is Pakistan’s leading cashless e-ticketing platform, enabling millions of users to book buses, trains, cinemas, events, and flights through its mobile-first platform. The startup currently boasts a user base of over 14 million.
Saudi Expansion Through Strategic Partnerships
The company entered the Saudi market last year through partnerships with delivery giant Mrsool and the Saudi Tourism Authority. In early 2025, it signed a deal with flyadeal, the Kingdom’s budget airline, enabling direct booking access for Pakistani travelers.
“We expect to generate around $20 million in additional annual revenue from our Saudi expansion,” said Bookme founder and CEO Faizan Aslam. He noted that the Mrsool integration alone is worth $5 million annually, with flyadeal contributing another $4 million.
Mrsool Integration Going Live
Bookme has already completed its backend integration with Mrsool, which will go live by end of July 2025. Once launched, Mrsool users can book flights, hotels, and events globally—all through the app interface.
"Mrsool is one of the most popular apps in Saudi Arabia. This gives us a huge digital gateway to reach travelers at scale."

Partnering with Saudi Banks
Aslam also revealed that Bookme has signed three additional contracts in the Kingdom, including deals with two major Saudi banks. These are currently awaiting approval from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), and will enable direct bookings through mobile banking apps.
Boosting Flyadeal's Reach
The partnership with flyadeal is designed to serve Pakistani travelers heading to Saudi Arabia for business, tourism, or family visits outside of Hajj/Umrah groups. Flyadeal has already launched flights from Karachi and is planning new routes to Lahore and Islamabad.
Bookme claims to offer airfares at rates 6–7% lower than market averages, with discounts going up to 15% during peak travel seasons.
Momentum and Future Growth
Currently growing at a pace of 130% year-on-year, Bookme sees Saudi Arabia as its regional hub. The startup has already raised around $10 million and is planning another round to fuel expansion across the Middle East and Africa.
- New markets include the UAE, Qatar, South Africa, and Tanzania.
- Bookme wants to become the leading e-ticketing solution across emerging markets.
Background of Bookme.pk – Pakistan’s Ticketing Revolution
Founded in 2013 by entrepreneur Faizan Aslam, Bookme.pk began as a digital solution to help people avoid long queues and manual bookings for travel and entertainment in Pakistan. What started as a small startup has since grown into one of the country’s most widely used e-ticketing platforms.
The platform was launched with a simple yet powerful mission: to digitize the ticketing experience in a cash-reliant economy. Bookme offered online booking services for bus travel, which was later expanded to include trains, flights, hotels, cinema tickets, and live events.
With the rise of mobile wallets and digital payments in Pakistan, Bookme quickly became a go-to platform for millions of users. By integrating with services like JazzCash, Easypaisa, UBL, Mastercard, and other fintech systems, it played a key role in promoting cashless transactions across the country.
Over the years, Bookme formed strong partnerships with transport giants such as Daewoo, Faisal Movers, Skyways, and Pakistan Railways, enabling real-time ticketing, instant confirmations, and paperless boarding for passengers nationwide.
Today, Bookme.pk serves over 14 million users and is recognized as a leading player in Pakistan’s travel-tech ecosystem. Its success is built not just on convenience, but on trust, innovation, and the ability to connect people across cities — and now, across borders.
Summary
Bookme is not just another app — it’s a pioneering Pakistani startup that transformed ticketing into a digital-first experience. With over a decade of local success and ambitious international partnerships, Bookme is leading the next chapter of cashless travel across South Asia and the Middle East.
