CM hails record sale at Sahulat Bazaars
A poll conducted by the Directorate Senior commander of Monitoring and Assessment has verified that the prices of 82 per cent items in Sahulat Bazaars are lower than the market rates, while 88% of consumers expressed satisfaction with the quality of products.
More than 90% of shoppers appreciated the accessibility and safety of the bazaars.
The provincial head praised record purchases at the Sahulat Bazaars and commended the relevant teams for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, monitoring and quality.
She directed representatives to establish additional Sahulat Bazaars in Lahore.
CM Maryam Nawaz termed the participation of 52.4 per cent women in the "Sahulat on the go" drive encouraging.
The poll short report showed that 91% of vendors in conventional Sahulat Bazaars expressed satisfaction with the low stall rents, while more than 85% of Sahulat on the go dealers were satisfied with rental arrangements and infrastructural backing. Overall, 72.6% of shoppers were men and 26.2% women.
