Dar states Turkiye, Saudi Arabia, Egypt back formal dialogue as only way to 'permanently end' US-Iran conflict
Deputy Premier and External affairs chief Ishaq Dar stated on Sunday that external ministers from Turkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt have expressed full backing for formal dialogue and diplomacy as the only viable path toward an “early and permanent end” of the US-Israel-Iran dispute.
Addressing a press short report on the quadrilateral external ministers’ session , Dar described the gathering as a “very detailed and in-depth discussion” on the current condition in the Middle East.
He stated the external ministers emphasized formal dialogue and diplomacy as the only way to prevent conflicts and promote regional calm and harmony. “We call for upholding the principles of the UN Charter, including respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all,” he further stated.
The ministers also expressed concern over the devastating impact of the ongoing dispute on lives and livelihoods across the zone. “We agreed that this conflict benefits no one and would only lead to death and destruction,” Dar stated.
