Pakistan stands shoulder to shoulder with Saudi Arabia, PM Shehbaz assures Saudi FM
Premier Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday assured Pakistan’s full and unwavering solidarity and backing with Saudi Arabia during a session with Saudi External affairs chief Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
According to a comment by the Premier’s Office (PMO) on X, PM Shehbaz restated Pakistan’s steadfast backing for the Kingdom.
"PM Shehbaz appreciated the remarkable restraint exercised by Saudi Arabia amid the current crisis and assured the Saudi external affairs chief that Pakistan would always stand shoulder to shoulder with Saudi Arabia," the comment read.
The PMO stated the premier recalled his recent conversations with the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, including their session in Jeddah on Public demonstration 12, and shared Pakistan’s extensive global engagement during the current crisis, including dispute resolution effort efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions and bringing both the US and Iran to the negotiating table.
