Premier Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday met with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and discussed the evolving condition in the Gulf amid the US-Israel conflict on Iran and matters of national importance.
During the session, the premier informed Bilawal about Pakistan’s external efforts aimed at promoting global calm in light of regional tensions.
Both leaders also exchanged views on political developments and internal protection challenges facing the country.
Bilawal appreciated the central governing body’s policies and measures to address potential challenges arising from the ongoing dispute, praising the premier’s leadership during a difficult time.
The two leaders also reviewed progress projects being carried out by the central governing body in Sindh.
The session was also attended by Deputy Premier and External affairs chief Ishaq Dar, Sindh Provincial head Murad Ali Shah, Secretary for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema, Finance Secretary Muhammad Aurangzeb, Secretary for Statute and Fairness Azam Nazeer Tarar, Adviser to Premier on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah and Senator Saleem Mandviwala.
