Social press platform X (formerly Twitter) was back up after facing a short report global outage on Thursday afternoon, according to internet monitors.
Shortly after 12pm, NetBlocks documented that X was “experiencing global outages”, adding that the event was “not related to country-level internet disruptions or filtering”.
Downdetector , which monitors internet outages in real time, showed a sharp spike in problems documented by Pakistani users soon after 12pm.
Half of those issues pertained to the X timeline, with most of the rest complaining about the app.
By around 12:45pm, the user reports had declined significantly for Pakistan to two from a peak of 189.
