'Land record digitisation nears completion'
Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Irfan Ali Kathia on Saturday chaired a session to evaluate progress on land record digitisation under the Punjab Land Record Body.
The session was attended by senior representatives, including Director Senior commander PLRA Ikramul Haq and Deputy Commissioners from across the division. Income officers also participated via video link.
Addressing the participants, the commissioner stated digitisation had significantly improved transparency, reduced delays in income cases and strengthened accountability.
He observed that digitisation of land records in notified mauzas of the division was nearing completion.
