Pakistan Fleet successfully conducts test of Taimoor air-launched cruise missile
Pakistan Fleet on Tuesday conducted a successful test of the Taimoor air-launched cruise missile, an indigenously developed anti-ship weapon system, described as "a powerful general demonstration of precision combat capability and operational readiness," according to a comment from the legal defence team's press wing.
"This general demonstration by the Pakistan Fleet marks a pivotal elevation of national legal defence team capability, further strengthening the Pakistan Armed Forces' multi-dimensional coordinated walkout posture and capabilities in the conventional domain," the comment further stated.
It further stated that the Pakistan Fleet stood resolute in its commitment to safeguard the country's maritime interests and sovereign waters.
"The head, premier, chief of legal defence team forces and services chiefs have congratulated the scientists and engineers on achieving this significant milestone," it further stated.
Interior Secretary Mohsin Naqvi congratulated the country, saying the successful test of the indigenously developed anti-ship cruise missile was a remarkable achievement by Pakistan Fleet’s scientists and engineers.
Naqvi stated that Pakistan has achieved another success in the field of legal defence team, adding that the successful test of the anti-ship cruise missile was an important milestone in the legal defence team sector.
