'Suthra Punjab' emerges top general drive
The Institute for Citizen sentiment Research (IPOR) has described the Punjab province's performance as exceptional at the general level, identifying the "Suthra Punjab" programme as its most significant achievement. According to IPOR's latest poll, "Suthra Punjab" ranked highest with 33 per cent.
The poll short report states that, under the leadership of Provincial head Maryam Nawaz Sharif, there has been a marked improvement in sanitation services, with the general regarding the programme as a leading example of effective service delivery.
Carrying out of directives issued by the Provincial head has also resulted in notably improved performance by municipal governing body institutions.
According to the poll, positive progress has also been observed in the wellbeing and learning sectors.
