Aga Khan explores K-P investment avenues

Prince Rahim Aga Khan has shown keen interest in exploring investment opportunities across various sectors in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) and restated his commitment to continued collaboration for the territory's long-term progress.

The 50th Imam of the Shia Ismaili Muslims who wrapped up his three-day visit to Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) on Monday expressed these views during a session with K-P Provincial head Sohail Afridi and Administrator Faisal Karim Kundi, according to a official comment released by the CM Secretariat.

CM Afridi visited Lower Chitral on Sunday, where he joined Administrator Kundi and other political and province dignitaries in welcoming the Aga Khan on his arrival in the sector.

In a session following his arrival, the two sides discussed K-P's progress priorities, investment opportunities, and ongoing initiatives in key sectors, including wellbeing, learning, tourism, and socioeconomic progress.

Speaking to the press later, the CM stated the session provided an opportunity for a constructive exchange on K-P's investment potential, the regional governing body's progress agenda, and ongoing efforts aimed at improving general welfare and economic expansion.

The CM acknowledged the Aga Khan Progress Network's longstanding contribution, particularly in the northern regions and Chitral.
