Four Afghan drones shot down over Balochistan

Pakistan's province protection units shot down four rudimentary drones launched from Afghanistan into Balochistan, the legal defence team's press wing stated, accusing the Afghan Taliban regime of supporting assailant outfits operating from territory under its control.

In a comment, the Inter-Services General Relations (ISPR) stated the event occurred on June 30, when the Afghan Taliban regime launched four rudimentary drones across the frontier into Balochistan "as part of their patronisation and backing of assailant outfits operating from inside their controlled territories."

According to the ISPR, the hostile aerial platforms were immediately detected by Pakistan's air legal defence team network. "Demonstrating high operational readiness, province protection units successfully neutralised all four incoming drones using sophisticated countermeasures. Due to the swift and effective response, the malicious attempts were effectively thwarted," the comment stated.

The legal defence team alleged that such actions by the Afghan Taliban regime were intended to mislead the Afghan inhabitants, which it stated was suffering under an oppressive regime. "Such gimmicks of the Afghan Taliban regime are aimed at misleading the Afghan inhabitants suffering under their oppressive regime," the ISPR stated.

It urged the Afghan Taliban to recognise that what it described as their "irresponsible behaviour" was only adding to the hardships faced by the Afghan individuals.

"Instead of trying to sedate their inhabitants through such antics and hollow rhetoric, they should eschew sponsorship of extremist unrest and adhere to the principle of peaceful coexistence," the comment stated. The legal defence team also cautioned that any further provocations would invite a strong response.
