PM Shehbaz in Turkiye to discuss bilateral ties, regional protection

Premier Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Istanbul on Friday on an official visit to Turkiye at the invitation of Turkish Head Recep Tayyip Erdogan, aiming to further strengthen bilateral collaboration between the two countries.
Turkish Commerce Secretary Omer Bolat received the premier upon his arrival at the airport. Pakistan’s Diplomatic representative to TΓΌrkiye, Dr Yousaf Junaid, and representatives from the Turkish external government department were also present.
Deputy Premier and External affairs chief Ishaq Dar, along with Information and Broadcasting Secretary Attaullah Tarar, are accompanying the premier during the visit.
According to a comment, PM Shehbaz and Head Erdogan will hold comprehensive dialogue covering all aspects of Pakistan-Turkiye relations.
The discussions are expected to focus on expanding collaboration in commerce and investment, while the two leaders will also exchange views on regional calm, protection and other issues of mutual interest.
